******Greene ATV Club trails open May 15th******
The first meeting of the 2010 season started out with a poof. We found out that the VFW changed the locks on the hall, which forced us to have the meeting out in the parking lot. Jamie started by picking letting everyone know that we needed a president, vice-president and a traillmaster. Autumn volunteered to do the treasurery duties again and suggested that the be the Vice-president because she handles all of the club paperwork. Josh volunteered to be the trailmaster for this season. Mike informed everyone earlier, before the meeting that he had sold his ATV and would not be even a member of the club. Thank Mike for all of your years of help. You have been invaluable and filling your position will be a challange.
Autumn then took the memberships of the people who made it to the meeting and then talked about upcoming rides. Autumn then took care of the financial matters and spoke some more about grant money that we got from last year.

Old News
We had a good turnout for the Greene Village Celebration. We made over 250 dollars and had a positive presence throughout the day. Thanks to Glenn, Jamie, Kelly and Autumn for manniing the booth and doing such an awesome job.
If you are planning on participating in our lineup during the September 12th, Greene Village Celebration please give Jamie a call as soon as possible to let him know so he can let the Celebration committe know how may ATV are planning to be in the parade. We are also planning to have about 3 guided tours through the Greene trail system. If you want to go on a guided ride through the town, come to the parade with your ATV. If anyone wants to help out with guiding the newcomers please let Jamie know.
Kelly wanted anyone who ordered a sweatshirt at a monthly meeting to send their payment for the sweatshirt to Autumn. Once Autumn recieves the payment, she will contact Kelly and the sweatshirt will be quickly sent and may be available at the Celebration.
Last Meeting Review
Our latest trail work took place across from the Greene IGA. We had a good turnout with many people donating equipment and time. I would like to thank Morgans for letting us dump our material in their parking lot and loading our trailers with his bucketloader. I would also like to thank those who came out and volunteered their time. Every person counts. Check out the pictures in the Photo's page.
Our May 9th trail work proved to be more challanging that one day could accomplish. We worked from 8 am to about 5 pm spreading the three huge loads of gravel, rip-rap and 3/4 inch stone. We had a few trailer problems with my Grizzly but overcame them with changing a fuse. Jamie's trailer sustained a more severe structureal crack in the steel tongue but with the help of Nel's Auto body, we were able to reweld the steel and get back to work with only minimal down time.
